Teenage years are an ideal time to be attending for regular dental checkups.

Teenagers are vulnerable to developing dental decay.  They are at risk of gum disease  which can be causing bad breath and other issues , also sports injuries resulting in dental trauma.

Teenage years are a great time to commence seeing a dentist especially if its been a while since a checkup. It’s also  the ideal time to  work on keeping teeth and gums healthy.

It’s recommended teenagers routinely have:

  • regular examinations for detection of dental decay
  • oral hygiene instruction and dietary advice
  • an assessment for any orthodontic issues
  • a mouthguard made for protection during sports activities
